Expired Trade-In Quotes: What You Need to Know
If you're planning to trade in your device, you may be wondering how long your trade-in quote is valid. At MacFinder, we honour your valuation for up to 30 days from the date of submission. This means that if you send in your device and it's received within this timeframe, we will hold your price even if our processing time exceeds the 30-day window.
However, there are exceptions to this rule. If you send us a device that is activation or find my locked, your quote may still expire and be revised. It's your responsibility to ensure that these locks are disabled before sending us your device to avoid delay and, as a result, a revised quote. If your quote has expired, we will send you an email with your new price, and we will require a response from you regarding whether you would like to proceed with the trade-in or not.
If you decide to continue with the trade-in, the 30-day window will reset from the date of your response. In some cases, your valuation may not have changed, and we won't require your response. In this case, we will continue to wait for your device.
At MacFinder, we understand that trade-ins can be a great way to upgrade your device while also getting some money back. That's why we strive to make the process as easy and transparent as possible. We want to ensure that you're aware of our policies regarding expired trade-in quotes so that you can make an informed decision about your trade-in.
If you're planning to trade in your device, make sure to do so within 30 days of receiving your quote to ensure that your valuation is held. Our team of specialist are available if you have any further questions regarding an expired quote.
