How to Get Your Shipping Label for Parcel Collection and Drop-Off

If you have arranged for your parcel to be collected from your home or workplace, the process is straightforward:

  1. Driver Arrives with the Label: You do not need to print or prepare any shipping labels beforehand. The driver will arrive with the necessary shipping label.
  2. Hand Over the Parcel: Simply hand over your parcel to the driver. They will attach the label themselves.
  3. Obtain a Receipt: Always make sure to get a receipt from the driver after they collect your parcel. This receipt is important for tracking and verification purposes.

Dropping Off at a Drop-Off Point

If you are planning to drop off your parcel at a designated drop-off point, there are two scenarios to consider:

Using a Shipping Box Provided by Us:

    • If you requested a shipping box when arranging the return, it will include a shipping label.
    • Attach the provided label to your parcel.
    • Take your parcel to the drop-off point and obtain a receipt from the location.

Using Your Own Box:

    • If you are using your own box, you will receive an email from pickup.returns@dpd.co.uk.
    • This email will contain a QR code.
    • At the drop-off point, scan the QR code using the provided scanner.
    • The drop-off point will print and attach the shipping label to your parcel.
    • Remember to take a receipt from the drop-off point after handing over your parcel.

Important Tips

  • Always Keep the Receipt: Whether you are handing over your parcel to a driver or dropping it off at a point, always take and keep the receipt. This receipt is proof of your parcel being handed over and is crucial for tracking and resolving any potential issues.
  • Check Your Email: If you are using your own box for drop-off, ensure you check your email for the QR code and follow the instructions provided.
